Feeling

Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Oppression or distress, or persecution, or famine, ornakedness, or danger, or sword?

Feelings are part of the emotion that gives color to life. When our feelings are joys and very interested in someone, we would say, thou art everything, or, I can not live without you. Really? Most are not.

The feeling was definitely not like math, one plus one must have two. He is very dependent on various factors. And his condition was not stable. So when we say to God "I love you" or "you are my everything" but only a feeling at that moment, hmmm, do not expect much.

The love of God should not be based only on on feelings, which one day would be lost, but based on thecommitment and heightened awareness as the stated by the apostle Paul, "What can separate us from the love of Christ?" And Paul has proven his love as a martyr.

The strength of our love for God lies in the strength of His love for us
