Colonialism and slavery was not human.
They bound humanity and not give the opportunity to make choices, all set in the interest of the colonial masters.
But many people do not realize that the actual the invaders or not human but evil rulers and the rulers of the darkness of sin,the human desires remain chained, with no less freedom of choice.
So when the Lord deliver us, is when we have the choice to live with Him freely.
